Each year, there is a full calendar of events from the annual Gala, to the 1940s weekend, from live music to comedy shows. It’s hard to keep up with everything (thank you This is Ingleton!) but there is always something on.

Live music is often a feature of the local pubs and “Top Club”, with Alice and the Looking Glass a local favourite. Although it took a pause during 2025, Sheafstock is a fantastic three day music festival based at the Wheatsheaf Hotel over the Easter weekend and is due to be back in 2026: definitely one for the music lovers!

Throughout the year, Ingleton plays host to a range of traditional sporting events. During the summer months, Ingleton’s A and B Cricket teams play in their respective leagues and the matches can be viewed from a range of vantage points. Sometimes they even win.
During the winter, you can enjoy the football team playing on most weekends and the ground also hosts several other local teams when needed.
There are also fell races throughout the year, dog and horse shows and a gymkhana.
