To the front of the building, there is private parking for several vehicles. Mature gardens surround the grounds with a grand cherry tree by the gate. At the right time of year, the blossom on this tree is spectacular! The garden has been planted in a way which produces flowers from March through to October.
There is seating and a table to enjoy relaxing outside and making the most of any glorious weather.
Inside, there is a hallway for boots, coats, prams etc. It’s the perfect place to allow things to dry if the weather has been a little unkind…! Atop the first flight of stairs there is the spacious kitchen/dining room. Here, you’ll find ample room to unwind on the reclining sofas, enjoy meals and games at the dining table, or simply relax at the peninsula. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need, including an oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, and all essential utensils and crockery.
For entertainment, choose from a selection of board games, jigsaws, and books, or enjoy your own favourite streaming services and music on the TV, using Chromecast.
Opposite the kitchen diner is the TV/sitting room. This is the perfect quiet, cosy room to unwind and relax. The comfy sofas and chairs allow for four adults to share the space and the TV is also fitted with Chromecast to allow you to watch your favourite shows and listen to streaming services such as Spotify or Amazon Music.
There are step-by-step instructions for using the Chromecast, which allows you to stream Netflix, Disney +, BBC Iplayer, ITVX or any other streaming service that you are members of, straight from your phone, tablet or laptop directly to the screen.
The accommodation benefits from an excellent shower on the first floor. It is fed from the hot water tank which should always be topped up for you to enjoy. If you ever find the hot water running a little low, the controls at the top of the stairs will have it piping hot again in no time!
At the top of the second flight of stairs are the two bedrooms. On the right is the Queen size bed with double aspect Velux windows. These allow plenty of light and air into the room whilst maintaining privacy. There are wardrobes, draws and a dressing table to ensure you have all the storage space you need.
On the other side of the small landing is the exceptionally spacious, yet cosy, twin room. There is space for children and adults to unwind, read or play with the games and small collection of toys whilst still providing plenty of storage for clothes and bags.
